I’m usually good for an average of two dozen non-fiction books a year. This year, however, I’ve read two novels: “The President is Missing” by Bill Clinton and James Patterson and “(Un) Sound Mind” by Richard Amico. Clinton’s book was very good, but, Richard Amico’s book was GREAT.---
Richard Amico's first novel kept me riveted from beginning to end. The setting is Luzerne County, Pennsylvania so locals will recognize some of the places mentioned. His vivid story telling painted a great movie in my mind. I really didn’t want it to end! I want more from this author.

I usually read James Patterson's books. Have mostly read them all. I love all kinds of Serial Killer books and Murder Mysteries. This one is a bit different for me. But I loved the story line and the characters. Plus it is written mostly about events in the Northeast part of the country which is where I am from. The Author did a great job!

(Un) Sound Mind captivated me from start to finish. It was original and talentedly written. This book has a strong plot that moved and was not predictable but still made me feel connected. I loved the idea that it kept me guessing until the end. I would recommend this book to friends!!

What a fun book! It drew me in, kept me guessing, and wouldn't let me out until the end. The back of the book says this is Richard Amico's first novel - he's off to a very good start and I'm looking forward to more. Well done!
This is a MUST read book. This is such a good book I'm having trouble finding the right words to express just how awesome it is. It's the kind of book that you just can't put down. I needed to know what happened next. I can't wait for his next book!
